How to........mix colour for tone
The 3rd video in a series for beginner and improver watercolour artists at my U3A art group explores how to mix colour to get the right tonal value for your painting. We do a study of a beautiful rose that has a wide range of tonal values withing the orange and red colours of the spectrum. The use of water to dilute paint to the right value cannot be underestimated!
