TOYS - How to Clean Corroded Battery Contacts

Hi, this video shows you how to clean corroded battery contacts if a battery has leaked. Many people throw away equipment especially toys if they stop working which is wasteful. A leaking battery in the past can often cause by a bad connection from corrosion in the battery compartment. A lot of toys use alkaline batteries so you would need to use white vinegar (acidic) to neutralise it. If the leakage is from an acid based battery like a car lead-acid battery then baking soda (alkaline) would be best to neutralise it. Hopefully by using household products and a bit of time you can get some of your childrens toys or your own equipment working again. Many thanks, Vince :-)
