Living abroad as an expat comes with so much homesickness, and navigating a long flight alone was filled with both anxiety and excitement. But the exact moment she saw her mom and threw her arms around her, all those months of waiting turned into an emotional reunion. Back home in Korea, watching the footage sent over me emotional too. Dealing with the distance is hard, but seeing her surrounded by family love makes it all worth it.
