Maleficent, a young woman with a pure heart, lives in a peaceful forest kingdom. One day, an invading army threatens the region's harmony and she becomes the kingdom's fiercest protector. However, a terrible betrayal turns her into a bitter and vengeful woman. As a consequence, she curses Aurora, her newborn daughter. But, little by little, Maleficent realizes that the child is the key to peace in the kingdom and to her true happiness as well.
