Gorges de Brian et Ponts naturels (Minerve / Hérault)

This hike was largely inspired by the loop recently completed by Respyr Rando (Katia and JP). Many thanks to them for sharing this lovely route! May 16, 2026: Starting from Minerve - village - GR77 - shortcut at point 266 - Pont de Daniel - Source des Payrols - Pumping station - Faja (irrigation channel) prohibited (to our credit, we only found out when we reached the end)... Warning: exposed sections, strongly discouraged for those with a fear of heights. And since it's also prohibited, don't go! It's possible to return from the pumping station via the marked PR trail to Minerve along the top of the plateau - Minerve - visit to the village (splendid) - Gorges de La Cesse to explore (under JP's expert guidance) the two natural bridges of Minerve, the Pont Grand (228 m) and the Pont Petit (126 m) - spectacular! - Continue a little further into these beautiful gorges before finding a passage that leads directly back to the road to our parking area. 9 km with 400 m+ of elevation gain Self-produced music: "Nettles Shampoo" (Krisbol 2026)
