When connecting antennas tuned to significantly different frequencies in this way, the influence of one antenna on the other will be very insignificant. I recently conducted an experiment with this type of antenna connection. Here is the first version of this antenna, suitable for quick deployment in the field. In this video, I demonstrate this antenna, how I deploy it, and how I use it for radio communications in the 40m and 80m (shortwave) frequency ranges. For radio communication with this antenna, a Yaesu FT-897 radio and a Nissei RS-101 SWR meter were used.
