Gifted to Give: 500 Years of Christianity in the Philippines On this day, March 16, 2021, the Philippine Church marks 500 Years (Quincentennial) Anniversary of the arrival of Christianity in the land brought by Spanish missionaries and settlers, who arrived in waves beginning in the early 16th century in Cebu. –Defend Catholic Truth In line with this, our Parish Church is designated as one of the Jubilee Churches in the Archdiocese.
