Initially, I believed that artists should establish their own unique style and deepen it. However, during the creative process, I faced the contradiction of conflicting ideas constantly emerging. To resolve this, I started "Ikeda of the Month" (2009–2025), a project in which I presented a new conceptual work each month. Works such as "Michael Jackson Pollock," "The Money Game," "YouTube Self Portrait," and "Ikemation" emerged from this project.
