Unpacking the Depository Protection Corporate (DPC) amendment Act of 2026.
Zimbabwe is currently advancing the Deposit Protection Corporation Amendment Bill (HB 2, 2026) through Parliament to address long-standing legal gaps. The primary purpose of the amendment is to establish a dedicated, separate insolvency regime for banking institutions, as they are specifically excluded from the general Insolvency Act [Chapter 6:07]
