Of Seas and Mountains: Journeys in Japan’s National Parks

Japan has more than 14,000 islands in the sea and more than 70% of its land area is covered by mountains. There are 35 National Parks in Japan, and each one offers a unique experience of nature and colorful culture created by the sea and mountains. In this program, two travelers will each visit a national park in summer. They will introduce Saikai National Park, which has beautiful islands and coastlines, and Bandai-Asahi National Park, which is characterized by majestic scenery woven by mountains.
