Tying The Grannom Caddis Fly

In this video Alex Jardine shows us how to tie the Grannom Caddis. The Grannom Caddis is a must have fly for early season trout fishing in the UK, including on our chalkstreams. The Grannom often appears in April each season and can be an excellent hatch to get the fish feeding well in the upper water column. The pattern is versatile and can be used throughout the season and colour variations are perfect for representing the caddis that appear later in the season.
