Scriptures: Acts 18:24-26 , Acts 19:1-5 319 Notice, God told the prophet, said, “Eat the scroll,” in the Old Testament. The prophet of the New Testament, He said, “Eat the little book.” Why? That the prophet and the Word would be one! See? That’s the Ark, the Word of God. 320 God has promised, His Word, how It would be fulfilled and how It would come to pass when He chose His Bride, how it would be done. It’s happening right before you, in the Name of the Lord, and that’s by the original Word! The evening-time Message is here. 65-1127B - Trying To Do God A Service Without It Being God's Will 275 “Hidden manna.” Let’s give the interpretation the best we can. What does “hidden manna” type? Hidden manna was a manna that was kept in the place…or a shewbread, in the Bible, that was only for the priest. How many knows that around? See? Now, it wasn’t for…They had a bread for the congregation, but there was a special bread for the priest. Is that right? 276 This is a special bread, a special bread, hidden manna. What is it? Who is our Manna? Christ. All right, Saint John, the 6th chapter, 48th to the 50th verse, if you’re putting it down. Jesus said He was “the Bread of Life that come from God out of Heaven,” the Manna. 277 Well, what is the “hidden manna”? The manna that isn’t given to all of the congregation. The revelation is poured out upon the angel of the church, the revelation of the Word. See? Revelation of the Word is given to the angel of that age, for it’s hid from everywhere, and revealed back (the hidden manna) to…It’s addressed to the angel of the church. See? You get it? It’s a little bigger revelation of what Christ is, maybe a little higher call. 284 “The hidden manna,” a little something special. What is the special? Not something to…The blessings of the Holy Ghost? Oh, no, that’s for the whole congregation. But the “hidden manna” was a special revelation ’cause he had to teach the others. See? Was a little more knowledge of the Scripture, that he could teach others. He’s supposed to be. Is that right? You’ll never live no higher than your pastor. You just remember that, see. And so…Cause he’s the shepherd that feeds you. If he’s the shepherd, he’s got to know where the manna is, to feed the—the sheep. Is that right? Now, a little special. And watch this just a minute, the revelation, the hidden manna. 60-1207 - The Pergamean Church Age 4 You know, I’ve noticed that among…I have two Bibles. One of them is nature. I watch that closely, for God lives in His Bible of nature. You take an animal when it feeds off of a certain type of ground, that animal will turn the color of that ground, if you notice it. Take for instance, if you take of the—even to the—the varmint coyote, down in Mexico, you notice him there. He’s—he’s kind of—in them red weeds and things, the coyote turns red. And up in this part of the country, or farther up, of course, in the west land, he will turn a—a brown looking, and kind of a bluish-brown, because he—he feeds in that part of the country. The deer will be the same way. The same little mule deer, in—in the way down in Mexico is a reddish looking. Up here, he’s grayish looking, as he goes on farther north, he turns dark. It’s what ground he feeds on. 53-1109 - How The Angel Came To Me 5 And—and you notice another thing about nature, that whenever you find out in the desert in Arizona and around, you find there’s a—a group of a—a…Everything out there where’s there’s no rain, it’s always got stickers on it. Every weed you get a hold of has got a sticker on it. Well, then you take them weeds and come up here where they have a lot of rain, it doesn’t have any sticker on it. That’s a good lesson. See, if the church is all dry, and no Spirit in It, they always got little stickers that boosting around. See? You need a good, old fashion, Holy Ghost rain, don’t you? That softens you up. (Ha-ha-ha.) That’s right. And, the—the Church can’t do it yourself. It takes God to do it, with you.
