The Bonda Tribe (also called Bondo or Remo, meaning “people”) is one of India’s oldest and most isolated indigenous communities. They are recognized as a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) and primarily live in the Bonda Hills of Malkangiri district, Odisha, near the borders of Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
