Oil and Honey is the fifteenth song from pHERspective. Sometimes healing isn’t found in a dramatic moment. Sometimes it arrives quietly, as you look back and realize that everything you once thought would destroy you became the very place God began restoring you. This song is about slowing down long enough to recognize His fingerprints. The pressing wasn’t the end. The crushing wasn’t wasted. The places that once felt empty are now filled with life because God was doing a deeper work than I could see at the time. Oil comes through pressing. Honey comes through a process. Neither happens instantly. Neither comes without transformation. And neither leaves things the way they were before. My hope is that this song reminds you to pause, look again, and recognize that God may have been working in ways you couldn’t yet understand. Nothing placed in His hands comes back the same.
