Types of arc welding like AC welding and DC welding. We make the two types of polarity in DC welding. Straight polarity and negative polarity are the two types in DC welding. Arc between two Electrodes are made by electricity. Electrical energy is converted into heat enaergy. Arc forms 6000° c to 7000° c temperature in the working medium. There are two types of Electrode majorly classified. Consumed and non consumed Electrodes. Consumed Electrodes are further classified as bare electrodes and coating Electrode. Coating electrodes also have two types. There are light coated and heavy coated. Tungsten, graphite, carbon are non consumable electrodes.
