In this video, I'll show you how I manage my smart home with Home Assistant, a 100% free software. Furthermore, through Home Assistant, I can add and configure all kinds of smart devices, as I'll show you in this home tour, as well as define any automations I want and control everything with my voice using Alexa. Home Assistant is an open-source and modular project, which allows me to program new features and integrations in Python, so there are no limits. Smart homes are a reality in 2021: what has always been known as home automation, but now open source and low-cost, at your fingertips! I personally have Home Assistant running on a Raspberry Pi 4 mini-computer, and it works perfectly. I've already tried many configurations (in Docker, on a Synology, on Raspberry Pi 1, 2, and 3), but they didn't work as well.
