My experience in this field allows me to say that adjusting plastic windows for winter/summer mode is NOT NECESSARY. I have several arguments against this mode, which I believe are compelling. I decided to make this video because there's a lot of talk these days about this function of window hardware, with some strange arguments in favor of it. At the end of this video, I'll give some gentle advice if you want to allow some airflow through the sash when the window is closed in the summer.
