There’s no such thing as a sure thing in Formula 1. No matter how well a team is doing, it doesn’t take much to knock them off course and send their fortunes into a downward spiral. F1 history is littered with drivers who ended up going through this, showing that no matter how well you try to plan out your career, there’s always a chance you could end up in the right place at the wrong time.
