Engine Code P0401 Solved. EGR INSUFFICIENT FLOW 2000 F150 XLT
If your check engine light comes on with a code P0401 EGR insufficient flow you most likely have clogged EGR ports in the throttle body and just needs a little cleaning up with brake cleaner to do the trick. Not a very hard process at all to save a couple bucks versus taking to an auto shop who will likely charge a fee just to check the code. I suggest investing in a code scanner so you can always check the codes yourself. It will pay for itself the first go round
