Chef Nobu Breaks Down Robert De Niro’s Favourite Dish
Just One Dish – Nobu Matsuhisa’s famous Black Cod When chef Nobu and Robert De Niro opened their Tribeca restaurant in New York, the mouthwatering black cod became the menu’s main attraction. To this day, it remains one of Nobu’s favourites. He said that before they set up shop together, De Niro never ordered off the menu. “[He told me to] make anything you want, just include the black cod.” It swiftly became the meal of choice for many of his customers. Watch the chef create the dish that started it all from his beach side restaurant, Matsuhisa, at the Cala di Volpe hotel in Sardinia.
