Castleford to Micklefield via Ledston & Ledsham | Fairburn Ings & Hickson's Lock Scenic Walk

Join me on a scenic walk from Castleford to Micklefield, taking in some of the beautiful countryside and historic villages of West Yorkshire along the way. The route begins in Castleford before following the Aire & Calder Navigation past Hickson's Lock and through the peaceful surroundings of Fairburn Ings. From there, I continue through the charming villages of Ledston and Ledsham before finishing in Micklefield, passing quiet country lanes, woodland, open farmland and plenty of Yorkshire scenery.
