🏔️ Green Trekking Outdoor Sports 🌲 ⛰️ Bursa Büyük Deliller Village – Uludağ Summit Activity Report 📅 Saturday, June 13 On Saturday, June 13th, at 07:15 AM, we met in front of the Kadıköy Marriage Registry Office and departed for the Bursa Büyük Deliller Village – Uludağ Summit activity with three private vehicles. 🚐🚐🚐 During the journey, we were unable to reach the planned breakfast stop at the coffee shop in Nilüfer district of Bursa. Due to a location error or the business's location being incorrect, we experienced a loss of time. Therefore, we had breakfast at an alternative kiosk and continued our journey ☕🥐 Afterwards, our route turned towards Büyük Deliller Village, a short break was taken in the village, and then we reached the starting point of the trail by vehicles. After a brief preparation and briefing, the hike started at 11:18 🥾 While the planned start time was expected to be around 10:30, there was a delay due to minor disruptions on the route. The first part of the trail was climbed at a fast pace due to the team's high fitness level. However, due to some participants' inability to keep up with this pace, three people voluntarily left the activity and returned to the village. After the necessary evaluations, the hike continued with the remaining team. We met Suat Arslan, the leader of Adresim Nature Group, on the route 🤝 After a short conversation, the activity continued from where it left off. A controlled climb was made to Alpin Point, following forest paths 🌲 Here, the team was briefed; dense fog, the risk of getting lost on the route, team cohesion, and possible emergency scenarios were shared in detail 🌫️ After Alpin Point, the climb towards the summit continued under dense fog. During this process, team unity was maintained, and participants behind were constantly monitored with radio announcements and visual control 📡 🏁 The summit was reached at 10:40 AM. A short lunch break was taken at the summit 🍽️, and individual and group photos were taken to record the activity 📸 🌧️ Due to the expectation of rain and thunderstorms in meteorological assessments, a risk assessment was made and the decision to descend was made around 3:00 PM when thunder started. The descent from the summit route began at 3:16 PM ⛰️⬇️ During the descent, the route was followed in a controlled manner under conditions of dense fog 🌫️, light drizzle 🌧️, and snowy ground ❄️. During the descent, the team split into two groups at the natural spring water point on the route 💧 The front group reached the spring accompanied by guide İsrafil Aydın, while the other group proceeded in a controlled manner.
