Vaughan's MODERN Downtown Transit Hub

For our series Random Transiting, we're taking a look around the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre subway station. The station services subway trains on Line 1 Yonge-University, as well as YRT bus routes, VIVA Bus Rapid Transit, and Brampton Transit's 501 Zum Queen. The station is the centrepiece for growing downtown development around the station, which is expected to be home to 25,000 people in the next ten years. The complex is comprised of the subway station, SmartVMC bus terminal, and Vaughan Metropolitan Centre rapidway station.
