Projekt TAMEB – Lernmodul "Mauern" // Deutsch

Learning Module within the TAMEB Project The outbreak of the civil war in Syria in 2011 led to a large influx of Syrian refugees into Turkey. By the end of 2015, only about twelve percent of the approximately 2.5 million registered refugees were living in refugee camps. The vast majority of refugees are now scattered throughout Turkey, primarily in the provinces near the Syrian border. The large number and the long-standing presence of Syrians place a strain on the Turkish state and, in particular, on the municipalities where the refugees live. In the vast majority of cases, the refugees lack the prospects to plan a future for themselves and their families. Training programs can improve their future prospects in Turkey, in another country, or after returning to their homeland. Project website: https://www.tameb-bfw.de
