FAIRYTALE — A Christmas Story. Dublin Gay Men's Chorus 2024 Christmas Video

With Christmas approaching, we reflect on the strength and love of our chosen family—those who stand with us, no matter what. 💖 Dublin Gay Men’s Chorus’ 2024 Christmas video features our very own Aidan Ryan alongside 28 members of the choir, and even Lola the Labradoodle, bringing a touch of heartfelt magic. At the heart of this video is our brand-new arrangement of the classic "Fairytale of New York”. This bittersweet Christmas tale resonates deeply with many in our community, reminding us that the festive period is not always easy, but it’s also a time when ‘found family’ becomes a pillar of support. This year’s Christmas message reflects the importance of cherishing the people we hold close, and highlights the powerful sense of community that lies at the very core of Dublin Gay Men’s Chorus. From all of us at DGMC, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a joyful holiday season, filled with love and togetherness. “Fairytale of New York” composed Shane McGowan/Jem Finer. Arranged by David Downes. Performed by Dublin Gay Men’s Chorus, conductor Duncan Brickenden. Recorded in Sandford Parish Church.
