If the weather is not particularly good, we are on our way from Genoa to Brig in Switzerland. The border crossing to Switzerland is just before the destination directly on the pass. The pass route is very well and broadly developed and can be driven on all year round - this is also why the crossing is very relaxed and only a few peaks emerging from the fog ensure a pleasant elevation.
