Understanding the Symptoms of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

Many patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) don’t understand their symptoms. Dr. Ronald Wharton, a cardiologist at Northwell's Cardiovascular Institute, explains the symptoms of HCM and how they are caused by changes in the heart.
