9/11 | Osama Bin Laden Vs USA

On September 11, 2001, 19 hijackers linked to Al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes in the United States. Two planes crashed into the World Trade Center towers in New York, one hit the Pentagon, and the fourth crashed after passengers resisted the hijackers. Nearly 3,000 people were killed. The U.S. blamed Osama bin Laden and launched the “War on Terror,” invading Afghanistan after the Taliban refused to hand him over without evidence. The attacks also caused a rise in Islamophobia worldwide, although many Muslim scholars and organizations strongly condemned the attacks as against Islam. #9/11
