Allergo [sic] Haji Khanmammadov(1918 ‒ 2005) was a Soviet Azerbaijani composer notable for his several concertante works for Azerbaijani folk instruments and orchestra; in fact, he wrote the first concerto for Azerbaijani tar and orchestra. He studied at the Asaf Zeynally Music School after having his musical talents recognised by the famous Uzeyir Hajibeyov.
