How to Perform a Piggyback Liver Transplant
This video overviews the basic anatomy of the liver and the piggyback liver transplant technique. This technique involves removing a whole donor organ along with the inferior vena cava, removing the recipient’s damaged liver, and implanting the donor organ into the recipient.
