AMSTERDAM Part 1: DFDS Mini Cruise From Newcastle Welcome to the first of a three-part series on our recent revisit to Amsterdam. In Part-one, we take a short journey to the DFDS Newcastle Ferry Terminal via the Tyne Tunnel and along through North Tyneside. Our ship was the DFDS MS Princess Seaways and we had a Commodore Class Cabin on Deck 8 - with a mini bar! We'll take a look at the facilities and onboard entertainment with walkthrough's of the decks inside and out. The overnight journey first takes us along the North and South Tyneside Riversides and through the Mouth of the Tyne. Then it hugs the north-east coastline, heading south-east into the North Sea.
