Interviewing a Native American bow & arrow maker on the Apache reservation #nativeamerican #bowyer
TJ can be reached at the following email addresses if you're interested in his bows and arrows, artwork, jewlery or drums: [email protected] or [email protected] I have been meeting up with Native American Artist TJ Dehose at the White Mountain Apache harvest festival for the last two years to buy is amazing traditional basketry. This year I asked if I could do an interview with him to show everybody the amazing work he does. During that first interview, I found out that TJ also makes drums and bows & arrows. I asked him if we could do a video showing his traditional bows and arrows he makes and to talk about how he got into this craft. He agreed to do so; hope you enjoy this video and can learn a lot about this craft. TJ is a White Mountain Apache tribal member and has spent a lot of time researching Native American history and has learned vast amounts about the way his ancestors made baskets, drums, bows, arrows, pottery and a whole lot more. His traditional Baskets and jewelry are outstanding and people from all around the world have been contacting him to purchase his artwork. Please check out the other videos we have made showing off his many artistic and functional talents: 1. TJ’s baskets and jewelry: • Interviewing Native American Basket Weaver... 2. TJs drum video: • Interviewing Apache Drum Maker TJ Dehose. ... Hope you enjoy the interview and his amazing artwork. Please like and subscribe as I will be putting up more interviews with Native American artists I have met or purchased items from. #bowyer #nativeamerican #nativeamericanart #nativeamericanheritage #nativeamericanjewelry #drums #whitemountains #apache #apacheindian #bowandarrow #arrow #heritagecrafts #longbow #apache
