These days, following the killing of a runner from Trentino by the bear JJ4, there's been a lot of talk about pepper spray for animal protection. Specific "anti-bear" sprays are not permitted in Italy; anyone wishing to equip themselves with something to defend themselves from a potential wild animal attack can only rely on anti-aggression sprays. In this video, I share my first-hand experience and suggest considering using pepper spray instead of spray to avoid the "wind effect."
