Microbiome in Parkinson's Disease
Ethan Brown, neurologist at UCSF Medical, explores the gut-brain connection in Parkinson's Disease in this Lunch & Learn seminar recorded March 17, 2021. His current research on the Braak hypothesis suggests that the earliest signs of Parkinson's may be found in the enteric nervous system (also known as the brain in the gut). He also explains the interventional drug trials now in progress at UCSF. Concludes with participant Q & A. For more information, or to participate in research study, contact Danilo Romero, Research Coordinator, [email protected], or call (707) 334-3737.
