Walking the Wild Wicklow Cliffs: Glen Beach to Wicklow Head Lighthouses

Taking a peaceful coastal walk along the stunning Glen Beach Cliff Walk (Glen Turn) just outside Wicklow Town, Ireland. This hidden gem of a trail offers some of the most dramatic, rugged cliffside views on the East Coast without the heavy crowds. In this video, we trace the narrow coastal path south from the golf club toward the dramatic headlands of Wicklow Head. Along the way, we hit the jackpots at Lime Kiln Bay and spotted several wild Grey Seals swimming in the rocky coves below! Too hard to see on an Action cam so I took some zoomed in pics with my phone and added them. We also explore the incredible history of the headland, checking out the massive 18th-century old octagonal lighthouse tower before tracking down the modern, currently operational lighthouse guiding ships today. You can even rent out the octagonal Lighthouse to stay in. If you love peaceful Irish walking videos, dramatic sea views, and local wildlife, this is a must-visit spot in County Wicklow.
