Movilización de enfermeras frente al Ministerio de Salud

Several unions within the Paraguayan Nursing Association held a massive demonstration in front of the Ministry of Health in the capital to denounce the extreme job insecurity they face. The protesters are demanding that the economic team approve the appointment of 7,000 professionals who currently work under precarious contracts. The nurses are calling for salary increases, as many earn less than the legal minimum wage despite their long working hours. The demonstration also aims to highlight the severe shortage of basic supplies and medications in healthcare facilities, a situation that forces patients to pay for their own treatments.
