We had a chance to visit my home state (Maine) a week ago, and I wanted to take the time to feature the very first truck that I ever got to work on, which is my dad's 1936 Chevrolet Truck. He bought it when I was very young, and it was a very long build process that took about 10 years, and this is the vehicle that I cut my teeth on when it came to building hot rods and custom trucks. My dad wanted this truck to look like it had been sitting in a barn for 40+ years, and he nailed the look, but what about the rest of the powertrain? This is also a sleeper, and the chassis consists of a 70 Nova front subframe, a mid 70's C-10 rear frame clip, and a car 12 bolt muscle car rear axle with 3.73s and a posi. The engine right now is a 400 small block, and its attached to a Saginaw 3 speed manual transmission. This truck is a blast, and of course, it does burnouts still.
