Behind each door lies an unknown, intimate, and selfless endeavor: brotherhoods, bands, associations, and groups work tirelessly to help thousands of people through social programs, charitable projects, and volunteer activities. Because brotherhoods are more than just trumpets, bugles, and robes. Behind every habit are people who help without seeking the limelight, transforming these institutions into instruments of love and dedication to others. The name El Palermasso comes from the stick or "palermo" used by the section deputies to strike the ground during the organization of the brotherhoods in the street, hence "cofrade humor." In early 2016, Antonio Garrido contacted a close childhood friend, the actor José Luis Penella "Blis," and shared his idea for a web series of brotherhood humor. After a couple of meetings and recruiting three more friends, what is now known as "Antonio Garrido and his crew" was formed.
