Tesla FSD v14 in NZ: It Parked Itself, But Broke The Law…

We tested Tesla’s massive FSD v14 update in New Zealand! In this video, we put Musk's latest autonomous software to the ultimate test in a Tesla Model Y, tackling some of Auckland's most notorious traffic spots. First, we throw the car straight into the chaos of the infamous Royal Oak roundabout to see if the new vision-based AI navigation can handle tight Kiwi roads, or if it completely panics. Next, we head over to a local supermarket to try out the highly anticipated new Arrival Options parking menu. We test whether FSD can actually navigate the car, choose a spot, and park itself without manual intervention. After that, we revisit Sylvia Park, the exact location where FSD completely failed me earlier this year. Will it make it through this time? To save you wondering, the answer is yes. In fact, the results were genuinely surprising, especially when the Model Y navigated directly to the Tesla Superchargers and attempted to park in an empty charging bay all on its own! The only thing missing from this impressive scenario was the car charging itself (Elon, if you're reading this, we're waiting). It wasn’t a flawless drive, though. While FSD v14 shows a massive, noticeable improvement over older versions, the software still made critical mistakes, clipped the curb and broke the law a couple of times. Hit subscribe, grab your popcorn and watch until the end to see all the wins, fails, and whether FSD is finally better than a human driver in NZ.
