I’m opening the facsimile edition of Pride and Prejudice, that the British Library have republished to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birth. 📖 Pride and Prejudice has been reproduced as it was originally published by T. Egerton in London in 1813, in three volumes, and ensconced in a stunning clamshell case. This edition includes reproductions of Austen personal letters that offer a glimpse into her life, as well as an introduction in a sweet little pamphlet by lead curator, Leslie Ruthven. ✨ I’ve been dreaming about this book since I heard about it, so I am beyond excited to get my hands on a copy!
