In San Juan del Sur, I started my morning at the bustling municipal market with my friend Carlos from Visit Nicaragua. We explored stalls selling fresh produce, cheese, and handmade tortillas before sitting down at Clementina for a hearty Nicaraguan breakfast of gallo pinto, huevos rancheros, maduros, avocado, and spicy chilero—all for under \$3.
