Can you solve 9 MARKS from UK's HARDEST Astrophysics Olympiad?
My Physics Tutoring: https://zphysicslessons.net/physics-t... Extra Videos: / @zhelyo_physics BAAO website: https://www.bpho.org.uk/# In today's video we will look at the solution of a BAAO British Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad Round 2 Problem on Superluminal Jets and AGNS. The problem explores apparent motion which is faster than the speed of light and it involves calculations of apparent speed and also using techniques of differentiating to find a minimum. It is great practice also for Physics Olympiads, the IPho and also the IOAA as it is a similar level of difficulty. Please note that this is not an official solution and credit to the creators of this beautiful problem. The original paper and mark scheme can be found here: BAAO 2019: https://www.bpho.org.uk/baao/Papers/R... Mark Scheme: https://www.bpho.org.uk/baao/Papers/R...
