I returned to Indonesia after 4,5 years! After staying on Bali for a month, I continued my trip around islands Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores. I cross all these islands by hitchhiking and ferryboats. I was the only traveler because the country was still closed for "official tourism". No wonder locals were very surprised to see me on the way... I arrived to Flores on Xmas eve and I met new friends right away! It was a very nice family. Flores has christian population mostly :) While hitchhiking I met another family in Ruteng. They invited me to their house and I became like a member of that big lovely family. They took me for New Year's celebration and introduced me to their local traditions, rituals and so on. It was a very unique experience for me to be a part of indonesian family! I show you how to travel around islands of Indonesia without any guides and agencies ;) I started my world trip in 2012 and have visited 80 countries on 5 continents so far. To be continued... ;)
