Huashan Mountain, also known as mount "Hua", is one of the five holy mountains in China. Mount Hua is known as the most dangerous mountain, due to its steep and treacherous pathways, with tall and narrow footsteps. It is only recently that the mountain has seen an "upgrade" for its trails, making it much more accessible to the common folk. The mountain has 5 peaks, and the shape of the mountain range from top down resembles a flower. Mount Huashan gained social media fame from its infamous "DEADLY" plank walk. A few decades ago the plank walk was a lot more dangerous, but now that it has become an attraction, the safety has been upgraded. There was a time not so long ago where the mountain would claim more than 100 casualties annually. The mountain has been a part of Chinese culture for centuries and it's history tells tales of brave adventurers, holy pilgrimage and seekers of solitude and peace. From Taoist Confucianists to warriors with inner turmoil seeking redemption. Safe to say, it is both a majestic natural sight and a cultural stronghold.
