#41 Inside Murphy Pipelines Building HDPE Projects Through Education & Execution
We sat down with Bill Fussner of Murphy Pipelines to discuss how education and execution are driving HDPE growth across the country. With a background in pipeline rehab and engineering, Bill focuses on working with utilities and engineers early to position HDPE and trenchless methods as long-term solutions. Murphy’s core strength is trenchless installation, specifically CompressionFit, sliplining and pipe bursting. These methods allow the installation of fully fused, leak-free HDPE systems with minimal disruption and significantly lower impact than open-cut methods in complex corridors. The takeaway: aging infrastructure continues to fail, and HDPE paired with trenchless methods offers a more durable, scalable path forward.
