Texture Blending on a Hackle - Sandwiching Many fibers to Create a Unique Roving for Handspun Yarn

This is my second video demonstrating how I use my hackle tool for blending. This technique I have nicknamed "sandwiching" because I add several layers or different fibers/textures before pulling off a roving. If you are like me and enjoy blending color and texture for spinning one-of-a-kind yarns, you will enjoy this technique. I am a self-taught jewelry and fiber artist from Nova Scotia, Canada. I've always been an autodidact, teaching myself how to make the products that I want in a manner that suits me, despite it perhaps not being the traditional or expected way to do things. A hackle is a versatile and relatively inexpensive tool for fiber blending & processing. It's in my top "must-haves" if you desire to process or blend your own fiber for spinning.
