Más de 50 edificios con bandera roja permanecen en San Salvador | GMV
More than 50 buildings in San Salvador remain listed as "red flags," a classification that identifies structures as uninhabitable due to the risk of collapse caused by the 1986 and 2001 earthquakes. Some of these buildings are still occupied. Authorities reported that risk assessments and intervention plans are being developed for the Historic Center, including the demolition of irreparable structures, with the goal of reducing risks to the population and restoring these spaces.
