Showering on the road (Van Life France)

April Showers in the Dordogne. This week we take on the Dordogne in our van in France and are spoilt by it's wonderful wild swimming spots, gorgeous quaint villages and stunning weather! We wake up in an aire in France and are just chuffed to be traveling in France where we feel very welcome in a camper van and have no issues getting services. Iz gets lost on a walk and Tom sets up our new shower system inside the van! Iz does a workout and tests it out. We then drive on to a beautiful village called Beynac-et-Cazenac for a picnic on the banks of the Dordogne. Tom finds us yet another stunner of a park up right on the river and he braves a swim. Then it's Iz's turn in the morning and we finish the day at our first campsite of the trip, which we are so pleased with. 12.90 euros for one night and it's such a beautiful site. It was called Camping Ferme des campagnes and was just outside Rocamadour, which we later explored! An incredible place and a must see in France, a medieval village at the bottom of a canyon with a monastery and church at the top. We hope you enjoyed this one!
