After enjoying the first game so much, it was near on guaranteed that I would play it's sequel. But just because the antecedent was good, it doesn't assure that Atelier Ryza 2 will also be good. Trying to figure out if you should play Atelier Ryza 2? Well let's dive in, and see if we can answer that question 'Is Atelier Ryza 2 Any Good Though?' Last year I was fortunate to play the first Atelier Ryza game, and loved it. It was a unique experience that I felt I wouldn't get with any other JRPG, with it's focus being something that is normally overlooked in many other titles. With an intricate crafting system which tied in well to progression in the story, this became one of the most relaxing adventures I had all year, and it more than earned it's place as one of my favourite games of 2020. Naturally when I heard it was getting a sequel so soon after, I made a beeline for the pre-order, and even got myself the limited edition of Atelier Ryza 2. 47 hours later, I feel happy to give my opinion to you, which might potentially give you the answers you need on Atelier Ryza 2.
