WE STRIPPED MY CRASHED BMW M235i… IT GOT WORSE

We started stripping down the BMW M235i to properly assess the damage… and this is the risk you take when buying crash damaged cars. What looked like a fairly straightforward rebuild quickly turned into something much deeper once we got into the teardown. The more we pulled apart, the more issues we kept finding. In this video, we also removed the damaged gearbox and installed a second-hand replacement gearbox that’s new to us. The big question is… will it actually work? This is the reality of rebuild projects — nothing is ever as simple as it looks from the outside.
